April Showers... Please Bring May Flowers

I feel like everyone is beyond ready for spring and yesterday was finally a B-E-A-UTIFUL spring day.  The sun was shining, the wind was softly blowing, and the sky was crystal blue without a cloud in sight. Oh how i love spring.  The sun starts to show its lovely face again, the dirty black snow begins to melt, the grass changes from brown to green, and you can feel the air slowly getting warmer as each day passes.
Last spring i decided to get out and take some pictures of our beautiful spring flowers, i fell in love with them.  Here are some of the best lovelies. 


Just in case you still have not had enough spring fever, here is a little song called spring (from the four seasons).  It is composed by a little red-headed priest, also known as Antonio Vivaldi.

This week has been full of ups and downs.

Monday was a up: thank you mr. Washington for letting me have a day off of school! Oh and thanks for all the other stuff you did to...

Tuesday/Wednesday was a downer: lacrosse is sometimes a tad frusterating. Wednesday we show up for practice like normal, turns out instead of having practice we were going to businesses to fundraise. Well isn't that just splendid, let's go ask businesses to give us moneys while I am wearing my nasty workout clothes, I don't think they care that i "heart subzero ice-cream". Thank you coaches for keeping us uninformed.

Thursday = HIGH: I can not believe I got into BYU!

Friday i was still on Thursdays high note: after Jake and I made cupcakes we went and saw unstoppable at the dollar theater, most intense movie ever. Who would have thought that a runaway train could be so insane.

Saturday...: this day started out pretty grand, and I had such a fun time hanging out with my favorite cousins, until 11. We see some lights outside and suddenly Brittany rushes outside, I forgot the curfew for parking is 11, we run and try to stop the guy, but to bad for us university parking are downright jerks! He boots my car at 11:01... Hm to bad my dad knows how to boot a car and we are pretty sure you can't do all the stuff you need to do to boot a car in 60 seconds. That means he started booting my car before 11, I am definitely fighting this and i will be getting my money back.

My Drool List

I love winter, but I have to admit, I get sick of it pretty fast.

I. Want. Summer.

I love the heat as it envelopes you as you walk outside. I love sitting in my swing at night and looking at the stars while having a good chat with a friend. I love barbeques especially with fresh watermelon that drips down your whole arm everytime you take a juicy bite. I love walking barefoot down the sidewalk & going without makeup because who needs makeup when you have that summer glow?  And who doesnt love the sound of the sprinklers coming on or the smell of freshly mowed grass?

What a B-E-A-UTIFUL Day

I haven't posted a real post in a while. That's probably because my life hasn't been that über exciting, but this weekend was splendid.

Friday: after a killer workout at lacrosse the team came over to my house to help with a cookie fundraiser. I thought they would only stay for an hour, turned out they didn't leave til 11... Funniest night ever! I don't think I have ever laughed that much in one night! And what was the cherry on top? Sara came and joined the party and we got to play Just Dance!

Saturday: I got invited to an adorable picnic/brunch, so Natalia and I made the best desert ever for it (its like a lemon bar, but classier). My new friends, Lydia and Gemma, introduced me to some of the funniest people I had ever met and once again laughed for like two hours straight. After the picnic Natalia, Elsa and I went BYU's cinderella and got ice cream at the creamery and watched BYU students meet their future spouses.

Sunday: SUN! today has been the most beautiful day this year! Today was stake conference and elder Monday, from the quorum of the 70, came and spoke to us, it was amazing. He was a great speaker and I loved listening to him speak (he had an English accent :)) My family and I went for a walk and then afterwards I rode my cute new bike til my legs were going to fall off. I need to post pictures of my adorable bike. it's a classic schwin bike from the 1950's, we were going to refinish it but the 'bike guy' said it would lose it's value so it's all original

  I am a usual at pizza pie cafe, the manager practically knows us by name and so does one of the bus boys, a bus boy from Australia ;)

I cant eat a clementine until all the white stuff is gone

  I love my family BEYOND words

I talk to my dog and cat sometimes

  I hate shaving my legs

I wish i was more easy going, but sadly I'm not.  I get so worried sometimes i forget to breath

  I love my sleep, which sometimes cuts into friend time

Man, the days just fly by!

I have always been excited for my senior year.  I mean, who wouldnt be excited for a year of slacking off?  Well, its not its all cracked out to be. 

Dont get me wrong, i love the fact that the only classes i need are English and a bunch of electives and it is nice to be the top of the upper class men. 

Honestly, what i really hate about my senior year, is that there are so many decisions that have to be made!  "Where are you going to college"?  "Are you going out of state or staying in Utah"?  "What are you going to study"?  "Are you going to move out"?  "Are you going to stay living at home"?  The questions just keeping coming! ITS SO OVERWHELMING! 

But one handy thing about all of this, is that two of my best friends are cool college kids now and have overcome this delemia I am currently having. So if you guys have any advise or some handy tips i could definitely use them, before i either have a panic attack or decide to give up and live the rest of my life as a bum on the street with my banjo.

My secret ambition

So I have been thinking alot about my future lately.

And after a bit of pondering I made up my mind.

One of these days i'm going to pack a backpack, a laptop, definitely a camera, and maybe a banjo or something and jump on a train.

Happy New Year!!

Today is January 1st 2011.

This means that todays date is 1/1/11!

So make a wish, because something like this doesnt come around to often.
 

I made sure to make a wish today at 11:11 am, but I can't tell you what it was. Because then they say it wont come true.

But honestly who gave "they" all the power anyway? To my logic, my wish would still come true, even if I told you what it was, because I would make it happen. I don't believe in it suddenly being "cursed" to tell you what I wished for. Because if I was hoping for it, and other people just sent along a little love and good vibes for my wish too, then wouldn't that just improve its likelyness to happen?

Of course.
